Joe Maldonado, Jr. joined Newton & Associates in the summer of 2007. Joe was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He returns to his home in South Texas often, visiting friends and family on a frequent basis.

Joe has experience in handling a wide range of personal injury matters, construction litigation, commercial litigation, hurricane litigation, and first- and third-party insurance coverage. He has also handled family law, creditors' rights, bankruptcy, toxic torts and environmental cases during his career.

Joe is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.

Joe earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was President of the Student Bar Association, and became an honorary Lifetime Member of the Hispanic Law Students' Association. He earned his undergraduate degree in Engineering Science with a minor in Mathematics from Trinity University in San Antonio.
